I don’t know who is doing the interviewing but this makes me sad happy like when Mindy wrote about valets being the same age as her dad, picturing them running after cars and generally being looked down on for various reasons

Happy though because a job is a job and the ones people don’t want are usually hard jobs

One of our vocab words this week was “melody”, and I sang the chorus of this song as an example of a good melody. They all went, “MISS BYRD! YOU LISTEN TO JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE?!?!”, and now we’ve been on a JT binge during individual work time. Seriously, this song (the radio edit duh) has been on repeat all week. Hey, it’s so much better than that Alvin and the Chipmunks shit they love.

pay off my car and my smallest student loan
save up at least 6 months’ worth of money (not just rent/food but student loan payments/car insurance/911$/etc.)
secure a job before i officially move there (ha)

How did you do it? I’ve wanted to move west for years and I would love to know how other people do something so big…I have student loans and just started a job in September. I feel like I will be almost 30 by the time I’m in a position to move without defaulting on my loans. HELP!
